We finally managed to make it Europe and during May 2013.
The trip was basically setup into 3 mini Holidays
- Netherlands to visit My Family
- Engalnd to visit Marias Family
- Catch up with Nick and Dionne in Northern England and Scotland
Overall it was a great holiday and it was great to catch up with everyone and to meet our in laws that we have never met before.
Netherlands
2-May to 6-May
We stayed at Fleur's apartment in The Hague and spent most of the holiday doing little day trips.

Then off to Kinderdijk to visit the windmills for Maria, with Marie and Henk.
Our last night in the Netherlands we had a big family dinner with Marie's family

We visited Maria's Nan a few times while in Portsmouth

We also visited London by Bus one day and did the touristy thing, visited Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and Dungeon, took a few trips on the tube and visited a few pubs/.

Catch up with Nick and Dionne
We drove down to Sheffield on the 14th to visit Nick and Dionne before heading back north to visit Scotland. On the way we stopped off to look at Hadrian's Wall, and Bamburgh Castle and spent the night at Rothbury.
